It was great to stay in the delta for the night

We saw quite a lot of birds

We were lucky to see a kingfisher

The delta was very dry. The fields will only be flooded again in March, ready for the rice planting. This house for example was surrounded by water last time we saw it (in December 2019)

We then drove further south, past Castellan, then inland through Vall d’Uixo and Chóvar, to the pass Creu d’Eslida

What a remote place to stay for the night 🙂
