That day we did a WOW walk! We started off at the Playa de los Genoveses and walked along the coast, past a few beaches, to the Playa del Barronal. These pictures can’t show how beautiful it is there – I suggest you go and have a look yourselves!

There were always a few rocks or a small hill to climb, to get to the next beach.

The view was fantastic!

The path sometimes took us through steep hills of pebbles.

The beaches were lonely and lovely.

The blue sky helped to enhance the scenery, of course!

The rock formations were amazing!

We then got to a beach with lots of basalt columns!

The sea looked fantastic, too.

In some places the path was quite difficult.

At the Playa del Barronal we turned inland.

That day we also saw a lot of lovely flowers…

… and some animals 🙂

After this walk we drove around the cape, to the lighthouse Faro de Cabo de Gata.

The rocks in the water are called „the sirens“, because a long time ago seals lived there, and sailers used to think that they hear sirens singing 😉

We were spoilt with a beautiful sunset, on the spot where we spent the night!
