I’ve been looking forward to Gibraltar, to hear some English spoken, to have the „British feeling“ 🙂
We saw the Rock of Gibraltar getting closer.

After walking over the border (notice my cousin Gerd’s shoes and socks from http://www.anziehendes.ch !) we had to cross the landing strip of the airport -there is no other way into Gibraltar!

The British way of life was immediately visible.

We walked through town to the most southerly point. Everything is very British, but there was right-hand driving, and people speak a mixture of Spanish and English 🙂 We treated ourselves to Fish and Chips !

There was an abundance of flowers!

Some interesting rocks, and even a waterfall!

There is a mosque and a lighthouse at the bill.

We could see Africa!!! Unfortunately it was misty, but still…

After the visit to the British territory we drove on to Tarifa.
