We slept right outside the bullring…

We went to have another look at the village, because yesterday we only thought of the memory card, and it was getting dark…

In Andalusia people often leave the front door open, so that you can see their beautiful doorways! The streets in this village are very narrow.

We then drove to a campsite (Batán de las Monjas) along the „Vía Verde“, a rail trail of about 18 km. There was hardly anybody else on the campsite, but it’s well worth mentioning – it’s lovely there!

The app „Lens“ helps us translating Spanish into German – sometimes the translatios are rather funny…

On the way there we encountered a few obstacles…

After a great meal at the campsite restaurant we still had enough time to go for a walk along the Via Verde, to San Nicolás del Puerto.

There was even a tunnel to go through!

San Nicolás is a two-street village, but there are four supermarkets!

In summer the locks get closed so that an artificial lake (with a playa!) is formed for people to swim in!

We also noticed some lovely flowers 🙂
