Yesterday was a day spent with washing and driving, therefore no pictures…

The park Ria Formosa is very informative. Before it started to rain we had a little walk. We saw lots of different birds, amongst others flamingos on one leg only (for Vreni !) …

… no chameleons (as announced), but lots of trees.

In the old days, a donkey had to walk in circles, to get the water up…

The sky got darker and darker!

By the time we were at the tide mill, it was raining.

We took shelter at the information center. They showed a documentary about all the nature parks in Portugal (excellent photos and films!), and the whole center is very well done and highly recommendable!

Luckily it didn’t rain for long, and we could finish the walk.
