The campsite we stayed at (Algarve Camping Car Park) is just too cool not to show it here 🙂

We decided to approach Benagil from the other side, starting off at Algar Seco (= dry cave) in Carvoeiro.

The scenery was just as fantastic as yesterday!

Again, lots of arches and holes and caves …

… and the colours were amazing ! Not just from the rocks …

… but also from the flowers !

The path goes up to the cliff tops, and down to the beaches.

There are a lot of beaches!

Again, we were lucky with the weather!

We passed the lighthouse of Alfanzina.

Sometimes the path was a bit steep, but there were places to rest 🙂

It must be a paradise for a geologist!

Walking back the same way, but a bit swifter – less photo stops 😉

Back in Carvoeiro we climbed around a bit more.

There is a pedestrian bridge, to protect the flora, and to keep people from falling off the cliffs!

The evening light was lovely, and we could just about see the lighthouse.
