Arrifana is famous for its waves, and therefore well liked by surfers.

We were more interested in the landscape …

… and we were fascinated by the cliffs surrounding the beach !

The sea was very blue and clear!

It reminded us of the flysch coast in the north of Spain.

Watched by goats, we had a drink at the O Paulo 🙂

It threatened to rain again 😦

Some last impressions of Arrifana:

We then drove further north. We saw somebody „walking“ the dog in his tractor !

Close to our next campsite was the Praia de Amoreira:

Again, the rocks were interesting:

A lonely surfer, and a lonely fisherman.

On the way back to the campsite, where we parked between lots of eucalyptus trees. The smell was lovely !
