Barragem da Póvoa / Menir da Meada / Anta do Tapadão – 8.4.2022

Our place for the night was at a very picturesque lake:

The dam is nearly a hundred years old !

There were hundreds of baby oak trees …

… and we saw a lot of storks again !

We liked the scenery with its gorse and stones !

Looking for a menhir, driving through fantastic countryside 🙂

We found the Menir da Meada:

The scenery reminded us of Brittany or Scotland or the Lake District 🙂

Sometimes you had to hold your head at an angle to see something completely different 😉

We just couldn’t get enough of it…

The dolmen „Anta do Tapadão“ was surrounded by beautiful countryside !

This tree had about 14 stork nests !

It’s not easy to chose only a few photos from the amount we took.

This round stone was predestinated as a dart board 🙂
