We spent the night at Constância, on our way to the coast again. Our route must look quite erratic to an outsider – there is one main reason for that: we didn’t prepare, but tend to decide on very short notice where to go next. At the beginning of our journey (along the Mediterranean coast) we left out a lot of places, because we had been there on previous trips. And as the weeks go by, we get into a time dilemma…

The castel „Castelo de Almourol“ is not far from Constância. It’s from the time of the Templars.

Built on an island, on the river Tajo, you have to get on a boat to visit it. But it would be easy to cross over on a few stepping stones 😉

Driving through the Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros.

We didn’t go for a walk as planned, because the weather just wasn’t good enough …

Around Nazaré the weather was no better 😦
