Down by the beach a pig was roaming around, and frogs croaked…

Of course we wanted to see the big waves up close !

What a spectacle !

And now for something completely different:

We can actually brag now: „We were in the waves of Nazaré“ 🙂

Driving further up the coast…

… to just north of São Pedro de Moel. The Farol Penedo da Saudade:

The sea was very rough !

There was a notice up that it’s not advisable to swim there…

Yet it was also peaceful.

We went for a tasty meal at the restaurant Meraki at Praia Velha. I liked the interior 🙂

The weather looked threatening again, so we moved on, through the rain …
