Drusenheim (F) – Süderlügum (D) – Rømø (DK) – on our way to Iceland – 16./17.5.2022

We left Switzerland on Sunday evening, and after a quick stop in Muttenz (to say bye to Omi) we drove to Drusenheim on the Rhein.

The next day we took the ferry to Germany.

A lot of cargo ships were on the Rhein.

We drove straight up towards Denmark. The weather was mixed… On the motorway we saw pantographs for lorries !

At Süderlügum (very close to the Danish border) we stopped for the night, and the following day we went for a walk in the dunes:

A rare ladybird spider (rote Röhrenspinne) crawled on the path !

Driving into Denmark, more or less straight to Rømø. This little island can be reached via a causeway.

A few impressions from Rømø:

„Postman Pat and his black and white cat“ – this awakened memories of Stevie’s childhood 🙂

Lots and lots of geese and other birds !

Cool campsite !
