We spent the night in Sønderby near Ringkøbing, at a private house who provides space for campervans.

At night we noticed that our inside battery wasn’t working anymore 😦 That meant: no fridge, no water pump for the sink, no inside light, no heating… We spent the day going to three different garages, first to Ringkøbing, then to Holstebro, and then to Herning, where the problem was finally fixed ! Everybody was very helpful ! We noticed that Danish people are generally very friendly 🙂

We then drove north. In Oddesund we had to wait at a drawbridge, because a ship was passing through. Seals were watching !

The next stop was at a nature sanctuary by the Løgstør Bredning, Vejlerne.

Lots of geese and swallows and lapwings.

We spent the night near a birdwatching hut close-by.

The following morning we even saw a crane !

The countryside was lovely.

Further north we stopped at Løkken. Coffee at a cool surf shop / café 🙂

Notice the name of the restaurant ! We had to laugh at the sign for the „winter beach“ 🙂

In the evening we were at Hirtshals, our last stop in Denmark. At a petrol station I saw a funny picture 🙂 We could see the sea from the campsite 🙂
