Our walk started in the middle of the village …

Unsere Wanderung begann mitten im Dorf …

… über eine kleine Brücke …

… then through a forest with wonderful trees …

… dann durch einen Wald mit wunderschönen Bäumen …

… and lots of different ferns and moss.

A lot of mining for ore was done in this area.

In dieser Gegend gab es viele Eisenerz-Minen.

We often saw stiles that have a mechanism for dogs to pass the fence comfortably 🙂

Oft sahen wir Zaunübertritte, welche daneben eine Vorrichtung haben, damit Hunde bequem durchkommen 🙂

We arrived at Llyn Geirionydd and walked along its entire length.

Wir kamen zum Llyn Geirionydd und wanderten dem ganzen See entlang.

Then we had to climb a hill …

Dann mussten wir einen Hügel überqueren …

It was a long walk – we really enjoyed a lovely meal at „The Fairy Falls“ and could even spend the night on their car park 🙂

Es war eine lange Wanderung – wir genossen ein leckeres Essen im „The Fairy Falls“ und konnten sogar auf ihrem Parkplatz übernachten 🙂
