What lovely scenery to wake up to 🙂

Welch schöne Landschaft um darin aufzuwachen 🙂

Driving a bit further down the coast, with a stop at the Caffi Y Ragna (interesting café with weaving stuff and pictures, run by a mother and her daughter).

Fahrt der Küste entlang, mit einem Stop im Caffi Y Ragna (interessantes Café mit gewobenen Sachen und Bildern, geführt von Mutter und Tochter).

We had to park on the over flow car park in Abereiddy.

Wir mussten auf dem Reserveparkplatz von Abereiddy parkieren.

The Blue Lagoon (of Wales) was formed, when the channel connecting the quarry to the sea was blasted, allowing the sea to flow in.

Die Blaue Lagune (von Wales) entstand, als der Kanal, der den Steinbruch mit dem Meer verband, gesprengt wurde, so dass das Meer hineinfließen konnte.

The path led along the coast, above the cliffs.

Der Pfad führte oberhalb der Klippen der Küste entlang.

Traeth Llyfn beach is beautiful 🙂

It’s only accessible by steep steps.

Er ist nur über steile Stufen erreichbar.

The sea was quite rough, and the scenery was magnificent! We could see the lighthouse of Strumble Head in the distance.

Das Meer war recht stürmisch, und die Landschaft war grandios! In der Ferne sahen wir den Leuchtturm von Strumble Head.

We reached Porthgain.

Wir erreichten Porthgain.

At the Sloop Inn we ate tasty Fish ’n Chips and a sirloin steak that was tough as usual 😉 As we made our way back to Abereiddy, the tide was already coming in.

Im Sloop Inn assen wir leckere Fish ’n Chips und ein wie immer zähes Sirloin Steak 😉 Als wir den Rückweg nach Abereiddy antraten, war die Flut bereits am hereinkommen.

Einige Höhlen waren jetzt besser sichtbar.

It was getting late, there weren’t many other people around.

Es wurde spät, und immer weniger Wanderer waren unterwegs.

Back at Abereiddy beach.

Unfortunately there are no official pitches to stay overnight, so we drove on.

Dort gab es leider keine Stellplätze, deshalb fuhren wir weiter.
