A walk across the common was recommended to us.

Uns wurde eine Wanderung in der Gegend empfohlen.

On the hill Twyn y Gaer we had a 360° view!

Auf dem Hügel Twyn y Gaer hatten wir eine 360° Aussicht!

We made a big detour to get back to the visitor centre.

Wir machten einen grossen Umweg, um zum Besucherzentrum zurückzukehren.

We then drove to the Talybont Reservoir.

Wir fuhren dann zum Talybont Stausee.

The sky and the lake were lovely, so we decided to spend the night there.

Der Himmel und der See waren wunderschön, deshalb beschlossen wir, die Nacht dort zu verbringen.

The following day we had gorgeous weather 🙂

Am nächsten Tag war das Wetter wunderschön 🙂

Nearby are the waterfalls Blaen y Glyn Uchaf. We went for a walk there – it was strenuous and hot, and the path was slippery, muddy and narrow. But it was lovely 🙂

Ganz in der Nähe sind die Wasserfälle Blaen y Glyn Uchaf. Unsere Wanderung dort war anstrengend und heiss, und der Pfad war rutschig, matschig und schmal. Aber es war wunderschön 🙂

People were actually swimming in that cold water!

After a detour to Llangynidr (we meant to eat and spend the night at the „Coach and Horses“, but it was shut) we drove to Pencelli to the „Royal Oak“ for dinner.

Nach einem Umweg nach Llangynidr (wir wollten dort im „Coach and Horses“ essen und die Nacht auf deren Parkplatz verbringen, aber das Pub war geschlossen) fuhren wir zurück nach Pencelli zum Pub „Royal Oak“.
