Benidorm is not a city of our choice – too many high buildings, too many tourists. We had to do some shopping though, so we strolled through town a bit.

Benidorm ist nicht eine Stadt unserer Wahl – zu viele hohe Gebäude und zu viele Touristen. Wir mussten aber einkaufen, deshalb spazierten wir ein bisschen herum.

We parked at the side of a road near the Aqualandia and started our walk from there.

Wir parkierten am Strassenrand beim Aqualandia und begannen dort unsere Wanderung.

Soon it became really steep! No pleasant serpentines… 😉

Bald wurde es richtig steil! Keine angenehmen Serpentinen… 😉

The view was good! Inland we could see as far as the „Fonts d’Algar“. The plantations of the covered up medlars were clearly visible. Two years ago we were there –> Fonts d’Algar 17.2.2022. 

Die Aussicht war gut! Im Landesinnern konnten wir bis zu den „Fonts d’Algar“ sehen. Die Plantagen mit den zugedeckten Mispeln waren deutlich zu sehen. Vor zwei Jahren waren wir dort –> Fonts d’Algar 17.2.2022.

On the summit we saw the sea and steep cliffs. Two years ago we were on the other summit of that ridge, by the „Faro de l’Albir“.

Auf dem Gipfel sahen wir das Meer und steile Klippen. Vor zwei Jahren waren wir auf dem anderen Gipfel dieser Hügelkette, beim „Faro de l’Albir“.

The sun was already low in the sky when we walked along the ridge towards Benidorm.

Die Sonne stand bereits tief am Himmel, als wir den Hügelkamm entlang wanderten Richtung Benidorm.

That day we were only travelling in and around Benidorm, so no maps here.

An diesem Tag waren wir nur in und um Benidorm unterwegs, deshalb hier keine Karten.
