Presqu’Île Renote / Trégastel – 26.5.2024

Our goal for that day: the peninsula Renote, part of the ‚Côte de Granit Rose‘. We started the walk near the aquarium at Coz-Pors.

Unfortunately the tide was out. Some of the boats looked as if they had a lie-down.

The heavy storm last autumn fell a lot of trees. The outcome is visible everywhere!

The landscape is quite different depending on whether it is high or low tide.

Some nice flowers and plants 🙂

Some details:

The lighthouse of Ploumanac’h was visible in the distance.

A little pond inland.

Huge stones at the tip of the peninsula …

… with some very interesting shapes!

Some of the trees looked special, too!

Les Sept Îles.

This part of the coast is just as nice as around Ploumanac’h, but there are far less people.

Amazing how it fires the imagination!

It always takes ages when we go on such walks…

The west side of the peninsula, with the beach Toul Drez.

Apparently the tidal currents here are quite strong!

It’s a beautiful beach 🙂

Some rocks are called cube, turtle or skull.

The adjoining beach Ker ar Vir.

Walking makes you hungry 😉 We ate tasty galettes and crêpes in the „Les 7 Îles“ at the beach Coz-Pors.

The changing cubicles go to rack and ruin 😦 We wondered whether they would be set up before the start of the season…

We carried on walking along the coast.

Insects caught in a spider’s web and plants in the water.

The path led uphill.

The tide was coming in slowly.

One beach after another.

View of beaches and small islands.

Different surfers in action.

Nice colours and shapes 🙂

We walked to the „Baie de Kerlavos“ …

… and from there back to our camper van.

Today’s route with our van.
