It was a wet day… We meant to go walking in the wandering dune of Valdevaqueros, but it was raining, so we just drove through… Then we headed along the coast, towards Barbate. The roads weren’t in very good condition… The scenery reminded us of Scotland! We postponed our walk to the next day…

We were probably the only ones at the Camping, and there were only a few people around the lagoon. When it rains plenty in autumn and winter, the lagoon is full of water, and there are a lot of very pink flamingoes breeding. That wasn’t the case last winter, so the water is very shallow…
