Plouguiel / Roche Jaune / Gouffre / Port Castel / Tréguier – 20.+22.6.2024

After arriving at our holiday destination for the next nearly three weeks we went for a walk from Plouguiel to La Roche Jaune.

We hiked across the countryside, past countless hydrangea bushes!

The village of La Roche Jaune lies on the river Jaudy.

Our destination was the restaurant Café Pesked. We enjoyed a delicious meal for Kurt’s birthday, together with our friends.

The sunset that day 🙂

Another day we drove to Le Gouffre. We had a lovely galette at the Krampouz Café. You have a gorgeous view from there to the Gouffre.

We then walked inland to the other side of the penninsula, near Port Castel.

The tide was out – the baskets for the oysters were visible everywhere!

We followed the „sentier de douaniers“ along the coast towards the north.

Have I already mentioned it: we just love this area!

Just after Porz Hir we turned inland towards our starting point.

Some houses have fantastic gardens 🙂

After this walk we deserved a delightful dessert – sweet or salty – at the same crêperie as before 😉

The house between the rocks near Le Gouffre.

„La fête de la Musique“ in Tréguier.

It went on till late at night, and we enjoyed it greatly 🙂
