We stayed at an idyllic place for the night (on the Mesa de Roldán), but the next day was windy and cool, so we drove off. We stopped at San José. It’s a touristy place, but due to the season there weren’t many people. On our walk to the harbour we saw some interesting plants…

What a beautiful coastline ! We then drove down the coast, past Aguilas, and past a lot of vegetable fields, to the Cabo Cope. Even more south, at the Playa La Carolina, we stopped for the night.

The Bateria de Castillitos (on Cabo Tiñoso) is another world war II ruin.
