Our destination that day were the Scali dei Turchi (Turkish steps). We drove there in our van.

Unser Ziel an diesem Tag waren die Scali dei Turchi (Treppe der Türken). Wir fuhren mit unserem Büssli zur Küste.

The cliffs are situated near Realmonte. The recent storm left its mark there too…

Die Klippen sind in der Nähe von Realmonte. Der Sturm hinterliess auch dort seine Spuren…

We walked along the beach, and soon we saw the distinctive cliffs in the distance.

Wir spazierten den Strand entlang, und schon bald sahen wir die unverwechselbaren Klippen in der Ferne.

We assume that by the start of the season it’ll look a bit different.

Wir vermuten, dass es zu Beginn der Saison etwas anders aussehen wird.

You really need to think twice about whether to build here – but by then, the coastline might already be gone.

Ob man hier noch bauen soll, muss man sich zweimal überlegen – aber vielleicht ist dann die Küste auch schon weg.
